Matt is an Associate in Addleshaw Goddard’s Litigation Group specialising in international trade compliance and corporate crime.

He advises FTSE 100 and other multinationals on international trade compliance issues throughout the supply chain, in particular in relation to EU and UK financial sanctions programmes, export controls and customs requirements, conducts internal investigations and audits for corporates into international trade and anti-bribery and corruption issues, implementing remedial actions to ensure appropriate controls are in place to minimise risk, manages regulatory investigations and enforcement proceedings and interacting with relevant government authorities in order to resolve compliance concerns, advises on customer and third party intake procedures to ensure compliance with financial sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption and anti-money laundering requirements and helps clients develop and implement national and global compliance programmes as well as delivering training to management and key personnel on supply chain issues.
